I connected the Coffee Can Radar Gain Stage to the Low Pass Filter and replaced the temporary wires.
As a reminder, here is what the breadboard looked like after after completing all the analog circuits:
Here it is now, after replacing the temporary wires and connecting the output of the Gain Stage to the input of the Low Pass Filter:
I put glue on a few spots for insulation and stability.
I tested everything again:
The modulator still works as expected:
As before, I placed a test signal on the input of the Gain Stage. Since the output of the Gain Stage is now connected to the input of the LPF, I checked the output of the filter. Here is the result for a test signal frequency of about 10 kHz:
Here is the result for a test signal frequency of about 28 kHz:
In both cases the connected circuits are performing as expected.
The rewire was not required but it was well worth the effort. I feel much better about moving the device and eventually taking it outside for tests.
